Rare Very Early Ladies SEIKO Wrist Watch. 1920s
A rare and very early women’s SEIKO wristwatch, likely to
date from the mid to late 1920s. One of the earliest models to bear the Seiko
name.
Original chrome-plated two-piece case with wire lugs and fitted
with an acrylic glass. Case diameter (not including winding crown): 21mm. Original
two-tone silver-coloured dial with subsidiary seconds. Raised numerals and
blued steel hands. Original 8.5 ligne, 7 jewel, Seiko manual wind movement,
signed “SKS”. The watch is in overall nice condition (slight wear to the plating on the case and some tarnishing to the dial, commensurate with age). Working order. Fitted with a new, good
quality genuine leather strap.
A nice example of a rare early Seiko model.
For items sent outside the UK using Royal Mail’s ‘International
Signed’ service, the maximum insurance is GBP 250.00.

Items may be returned for an exchange or refund within 30 days
of purchase. The item must be returned in an undamaged, unused state and in its
original packaging. Buyer pays return postage and packing costs unless item is
significantly different than advertised.
