Four parts from Marion & Co's nine part 'Empire Series', highlighting prominent places in Britain, with these four parts looking at London.

Souvenir booklets such as these were very popular in the Victorian era.

Part I, 'Westminster Abbey', illustrated with sixteen views.

Part V, 'Windsor Castle', illustrated with sixteen views.

Part VII, 'The Houses of Parliament', illustrated with sixteen views.

Part VIII, 'The Tower of London', illustrated with sixteen views.

Undated, dated from Jisc from a copy held at the British Library.


CONDITION

In the original publisher's paper wraps. Externally, smart. A couple of minor light marks to the wraps. Very small chip to the head of the rear wrap of Part V. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
