Shell Rattle

The handle is a piece of Hazel collected from our garden on the edge of  Exmoor, West Somerset after we cut back some of the Hazel trees growing on the river bank that defines the edge of our garden. Mussel shells collected from a local beach have been attached to the handle using plant fibre twine. 

The rattle makes a soft, enchanting sound and would represent the element of Water in shamanic work.

This item has been made with honour and respect by a drum maker and shamanic practitioner with over 19 years experience.
