Report from the Senate of the United States inquiring into allegations of fraud in the proposed purchase of a site for fortification upon the north side of the bay of San Francisco, having had the same under examination and consideration, report: That they find, from all the evidence adduced, record and oral, that the agents of the government are exempt from blame; that they were not involved in any allegation of fraud; and herewith submit the evidence to the senate, and ask to be discharged from the further consideration of the subject.
