The tailored response of the 6MR400CF-4 comes from its exotic yet supremely engineered carbon fiber cone that delivers the signature PRV audio combination of depth and accuracy on vocal reproduction.
Beyond good looks, this cone is extremely light, surprisingly rigid, and provides excellent damping to keep narrow peaks under control, resulting in an incredibly natural yet accurate sound.
Recommended Amplifier configurations and crossover points:
2 Speakers – 1x MDX1200.2 1 Ohm, Bridged both speakers in parallel
4 Speakers – 1x MDX1800.1 1 Ohm, 4 speakers in parallel
Recommended HPF using PRV Digital Signal Processor when using up to 400 Watts RMS musical power
- 145 Hz at 12 dB per octave filter Crossover / BT12
- 135 Hz at 18 dB per octave filter Crossover / BT18
If you have a super tweeter on your system the recommended LPF is 8,000 at 18 dB per octave filter Crossover / LR18 but you may set it lower to blend in better depending on the other components in your system, or you may not use a LPF at low power to take advantage of its high frequency response.
