Please see how to measure the cookware on your side. 
Lids in this listing are measured for inner diameter.
We don't bother with overall diameter because it adds unnecessary complexity.
Please measure the inside wall of the cookware at the brim and select that size or closest on the smaller side. 
Units with tapered walls require -1/8 adjustment (if tape reads 9 1/2 choose 9 3/8 lid )  . 
Similar reading on units with a straight drop need no adjustment (a 9 1/2 is 9 1/2" lid.)

If no lid is -1/8" (smaller side) please let us know by sending a picture of the tape across your pan/pot.
