The item that is offered is a beautifully feminine, brand new, vintage early 1950’s, gilded, embossed, with a cut out plastic insert sheet, An Artistic Card, While you Are ill greeting card.  It features pink roses preserved under a glass dome on a black base with an intricately delicate patterned design.  A pink rose bud and forget-me-nots are displayed at the base.  The message on the front of the card and the curlicue design at the top of the card’s front are gilded.  The aforementioned message and design and the flowers and the base are all embossed.  There is a cut out circle with a plastic insert sheet to give one the sense of glass.  This is folded four sided card.  FYI, when I was a little girl in the 1950’s, my grandmother had a similar glass globe with red roses in a liquid.  The roses were waxed in some way I would assume for preservation.  I also recall seeing another one of the glass globes with yellow waxed roses during the same time period.

The greeting card is brand new in unused and unsigned condition.
