The matchbook for your consideration is a full (17 matches/less 3) orange matchbook with illustrations, roast chicken & pie slices and lettering in raised or embossed silver printing.  On the front of the matchbook are the words, “ELKTON HOUSE RESTAURANT WALL, S.D. 57790 .”.  Notice the older abbreviation for state.  On the end of the matchbook is the phone number, which I have to remove exact contact information due to eBay policies, but it is there.  On the back cover the back cover are the illustrations of a roasted chicken and a sandwich and the words, “IT’S A PLEASURE A FULL COURSE MEAL OR A SANDWICH TO SERVE YOU Owners Gordon Pederson & Bill Leonard . The matchbook measures 1½ x 1 7/8 inches (3.8 x 4.8 centimeters).  There is slight scuffing on the area to strike the match.
