 This car is part of the "1972 series".  This is a 9 car series of 40 foot boxcars commemorating the very early releases with different numbers.  The series came with a special box lid on the box.

This is a Southern 40 foot single door boxcar with roof walk.  The doors open and close.  The car and box are in perfect condition.  There is a Micro-Trains price tag on the paper insert.

This car was released in March 2015.  The car has reached a high auction value of $32.00 in the past.

The Southern car was built in February 1948 by Pullman Standard in Bessemer Alabama.  The car is painted boxcar red with white printing.  The car has end printing.
