At least that’s what famed dance historian, Richard Powers, was going for when he created this poster in the 1980’s. This is a 10" x 13-1/2" poster on heavy stock that is in WONDERFUL condition. It's an advertisement for "Tango Argentino - El Sona Dor," by Arnaldo Barsanti - which was scheduled for Berlin's Orpheus-Verlag Theatre. Again, a ruse from the man who helped choreograph one of the dance sequences in the film version of “Spring Awakening.” A legend from Stanford University, Powers is one of the world’s leading authorities on social dance.
