TYRMET bust made of bronze and white Greek marble. The bust presents interpretations of the human head. Through the openwork and dynamic shapes I wanted to find a energetic and ethereal character.

About the edition of sculpture.

Two bronze casts were made from one mold. Each cast was finished in a different way with a different final look. The sculptures are called TYRMET and BIRMED. I decided to make a maximum of five mold castings with a different final finish.


The sculpture has a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.

Konrad Ziolkowski –an artist dealing with contemporary sculpture and multimedia.
He was born in 1981 in Strzelin, Poland. In 2006 he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw with excellent degree in professor's Zbigniew Makarewicz sculpture studio.
During studies he was a member of the unofficial art group 'El nino'. Inspired by human,
by metamorphosis and synthesis, he creates compositions of colours,directions, solids and contrasts. He is trying to catch concrete expressions of human emotions and gestures. His artistic output includes exhibitions, awards and diplomas.

2001 – 2006 Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław - the studio of sculpture of professor Zbigniew Makarewicz (direction – the sculpture, diploma received in 2006 )
1997 – 2001 Vocational Technical High School – Renovation of Monuments and Architecture
