A very nice, lovely Multi-patina little bronze and of a young Girl & Boy eating candy on an onyx square base.
Nice expression on the faces, both formally dressed and the detail is exquisite, they are very lifelike.
Look at the finger nails of the boy holding his hands to his back.
Artist / Maker:
Austrian Bronze maker, perhaps Carl Kauba (we attribute to Carl Kauba)
Signature / Marks:
No signature, only the word "GESCHUTZT" on the girl's leg to the back (see photos 10&11)
Foundry:
Only the word "GESCHUTZT"
Material:
Multi-Patina Bronze. (colours: brown, green, silver, red & gold bronze finish)
Gold brown finish: All human body parts unclothed.
Red: Partly her dress
Green: Partly her dress, bronze base dark green
Brown: His shoes
Silver: His sleeves and the Candy bag.
Size (H/W/D):
H/W: 15/6 cm or 5,90/2,36 inch.
