This piece is the Fenton Iridized Milk Glass bell with Empress Rose edge, hand painted fuchsia, pink flowers, and pink ice hearts that was sold by QVC in 1998. This piece was a part of my beloved late grandmother's large personal
Fenton collection. The piece is 8 inches tall. It is in mint condition, and it has been in storage for decades since it was purchased from QVC in 1998.
The prices that Fenton are listed for are
approximately the
retail prices that my grandmother paid for each piece not including tax and
shipping
and handling when she bought each piece as they were released back in
the late 1980s-early 2000s. She typically paid $50-$200 or even more for
each Fenton piece depending on the size of each piece, how limited each was, if it was hand painted, if it was signed, and who signed it.
I
have two official Fenton Art Glass value guidebooks, one is a large
value guidebook that covers the entire history of Fenton since the
company was founded, and the other is a value guidebook strictly for
Fenton pieces that were exclusive to QVC which was where she collected
most of her Fenton. In addition to the two value guidebooks, I have her
original order receipts, and her collecting journal of how much she
spent for everything that she collected. I consulted the two value
guidebooks and her records before I made each listing. I have based my
prices accordingly based on a combination of the values listed in the
official guidebooks, the retail price of what each piece sold for, and
how much she paid for each piece.
I
consider these fair prices because this is premium collector art glass
that was released decades ago, and because they were are all preciously
kept in new condition in storage in a lovingly cared for collection
by a passionate collector.
All of the Fenton pieces, dolls, bears, ornaments, and
other non-movie related collectables that I have for sale were from my
grandma's large collection that she collected for over 25 years. Most
items from her collection were never displayed, and spent years in
storage because so many collectables that she did not have the space to
use or display most of them.
This item has no odors, this item along with every item that I am selling come from a smoke free home.
All Fenton will ship insured and will be packed with extreme care so you get your Fenton as you see it in the pictures.
I
charge a flat rate because many Fenton pieces are
being shipped in large boxes. Fenton pieces do not fit into many
standard box sizes because of the many odd sizes that the Fenton pieces
come in and because Fenton pieces require ample space for a lot of
bubblewrap and other packing materials in order to ship securely. Fenton
only fits safely in
certain size boxes and requires boxes varying odd sizes. Fenton costs
more to ship because of how highly fragile it is, the entirety of each
piece must be wrapped heavily in bubblewrap, so that the Fenton piece is
protected from the top, bottom, and both sides of the box. I
package the Fenton very thick in bubblewrap and other materials until
there is no room for movement and each piece sits securely in the
bubblewrap at the center of the box with dense layers of
bubblewrap protecting it from every direction. That is why the shipping is what it is. My goal as a
seller is to ensure that your Fenton arrives undamaged, and you receive it as you see in the photos.
