Made of almost 200 squares of fabric, 100 on one side, and 100 on the other. There is no padding in between, this making it lightweight and easy to transport to the back porch or in the car on trips. On one side, the blocks are sewn together in the traditional way, hiding the edges underneath. An "X" is sewn across it in a zig zag stitch to hold it to the block on the other side. On the other side, the edges are sewn outside and they are cut to make little flaps. This gives this side some dimension. You can also see the zig zag X from this side as well. The border is sewn together with the edges visible and it is cut into little flaps as well.
There are a lot of Dora prints, some halloween, flowers, bunnies, frogs, trees and little forest creatures. There are greens, pinks, yellows and other colors that would be suitable for a girl.
