This listing is for an 8x10, one-of-a-kind, color photo that has been autographed by PHIL NEVIN, shown when he was playing for the San Diego Padres.  Phil is the new 3rd base coach for the San Francisco Giants in 2017.   Phil Nevin played college ball at Cal State Fullerton, where he won the Golden Spikes Award for being the best college player of the year 1992.  Phil Nevin was the first overall pick in the 1992 MLB amateur draft, by the Houston Astros.  Phil Nevin made it to the majors in 1995 with Houston but was traded during that year to the Detroit Tigers, where he played for two more full seasons, followed by a year with the Anaheim Angels.  He spent of his career with the San Diego Padres (1999-2005 and hit 41 home runs & drove in over 100 runs three years).  He later had short stints with the Rangers, Cubs & Twins.  Phil has been managing in the minor leagues the past few years for the Tigers & Diamondbacks' organizations.   This photo was taken September 12, 1999 in San Diego.   Phil Nevin signed this photo in front of us at the San Diego Monthly Card Show at the Scottish Rite Center in Mission Valley area of San Diego.  A copy of the flyer for that show will be included with the photo.

CONDITION:  This photo is a one-of-a-kind; that is, only this one 8x10 print was ever made from the original negative, and the negative has since been intentionally destroyed.  This 8x10 photograph is considered to still be in excellent condition; no dog-ear corners, no scratches folds or bends, etc.  The photo has been stored in a folder in a file cabinet in a climate controlled room & smoke free environment since its original photo development or its purchase and on its signature signing date.
