This is a vintage slanted glass General Store display jar.

These jars typically held crackers, cookies, or candy.

It is slanted but can be displayed standing straight up as well.

Bright Red Wooden knob on top of the burlap covered metal lid.

It is decorated with Christmas Foliage.
