1926 Gregorio Fernandez Hardcover Book by Beatrice I. Gilman (Hispanic notes & monographs; essays, studies, and brief biographies. Peninsular series)
This is book concerning the Spanish sculptor Gregorio Fernandez and his work. The front has a portrait of Fernandez attributed to Diego Valentin Diaz.
This book measures 4.5" by 6.75" and is hardback covered in brown cloth with red text. The cover has shelf wear and has been rubbed with edges and corners are bumped and rubbed. The top and bottom of the spine is fraying. There are the remains of a library sticker on the top front left that measures 1/2" by 2" and on the lower spine that measures 1/4" by 1/4". There is a Dewey Decimal number stamped in black on the lower spine. The first two pages have completely separated from the spine otherwise the spine seems okay.
This is an old library book so there are library stamps, stickers and remains of stickers. The pages have very slight tanning/yellowing from age. Please see photos for details. If you would like specific photos please contact me and I will be happy to provide them. In spite of the exterior problems this is still a very interesting book with 34 full page black and white images.
