I am in WA. This is cheap letter non-tracked postage to help YOU for costs. Time is 6 biz days (ES) to 10 biz days (qld). If you want YELLOW EXPRESS SATCHEL , in 2025 it is plus $11 (3 biz days ex WA). Ask immediately in an EBAY MESSAGE and I will send an extra invoice. Beware if using the checkout-message-box as ebay deletes that msg if the tiny send-box is not ticked as well.

PLEASE READ THE ITEM CAREFULLY... IT IS ALL IN THE TEXT... AND THE PHOTO WITH AN EXTENSIVE TABLE IN.  YES , IT IS A LITTLE "COMPLICATED"... NO, I DON'T WANT BABIES COMPLAINING THEY "DON'T HAVE TIME TO READ IT and i should do all the work for his magnificent dollar etc etc etc" (as I just had... what a whiner, all he had to do was read it... I banned him). The item is not a big money-maker I assure you, more like a service item... bringing together these clips into one listing.

I cannot give you clip sizes from vague descriptions of badges or cars "it's the boot badge on my MG"  etc etc.  YOU must read the huge amount of info here and determine what you think will do the job.  I would like to be retired so that I could do this, but I ain't and these are worth a dollar... so whilst I appreciate your custom , I can't mess about looking up badges and sending photos off for ID etc etc  for a dollar or two.

To summarise the detail, spire clips come in 4 sizes, 3/32, 4/32, 5/32, 6/32 (I will leave them as vulgar fractions).  Each 1/32 is about 31 thou... or about 0.8mm. Also more clip-types... see detail below and photos.

EBAY WILL NOT ALLOW FIELD-SELECTIONS (IE CHOICES OF VARIANTS) IN "VINTAGE CAR PARTS"  (????!!!!).... SO THE ONLY WAY TO ADVISE THE SPLIT-UP OF THE TOTAL NUMBER YOU REQUIRE, IS TO TELL ME IN A MESSAGE..... THERE IS LITTLE POINT IN ME RINGING EBAY TO FIND OUT WHY THEY HAVE THIS STRANGE RULE... SANJEEV IN BOMBAY WILL SIMPLY MAKE CONCILIATORY COOING NOISES AT ME.... AND THEN DO ABSOLUTLEY NOTHING ABOUT IT.

RANGE OF SPIRE CLIPS FOR VINTAGE VEHICLES THAT USED THESE TO HOLD BADGES ON.  Also some more easily removable high-dome hat-shaped "capotain hat" clips in steel (GHF1532) and plastic (GHF1531), and some old-school chromed pram-axle/trolley clips.

WARNING... BE VERY CAREFUL "TESTING" THE SPIRE CLIPS ON YOUR BADGE... THESE CLIPS ARE TENACIOUS BUGGERS AND REVERSING IS REAALLY HARD!!!

TO HELP YOU, I HAVE REWRITTEN THIS ITEM. I GIVE YOU SIX MEASUREMENTS. (The red are prob of most use)

A. THE RATED-SIZE DESCRIBED IN 32NDS OF AN INCH

B. THE RATED-SIZE IN REAL FRACTIONS IF APPLICABLE (EG 6/32 IS 3/16)

C. THE PINCH-SIZE IN MM. THE DISTANCE BETWEEN THE MOVING SPRUNG LEGS THAT DO THE PINCH. OBVIOUSLY IT WILL BE SMALLER THAN A..

D THE PINCH SIZE IN "UNITS OF 32NDS". THIS IS MY (NON-MATHEMATICAL) SIZE OF "HOW MANY 32NDS APPROX"... THIS MEASUREMENT IS TO GIVE YOU A FEEL FOR THE SIZE RELATIVE TO ITS DESCRIBED USE-RATING.

E. THE GREATEST SIZE PEG IN MM THAT COULD POSSIBLY FIT.  THIS IS THE DISTANCE ACROSS THE IMMUTABLE WIDTH... YOU COULD NEVER GET A PEG BIGGER THAN THIS IN... IN FACT YOU WOULD FIND IT HARD TO EVEN GET CLOSE, AS THE PINCH WOULD BUSTING ITS ARSE WITH YOU RAMMING THIS SIZE PEG INTO THE CLIP!!!!

F. THE GREATEST SIZE PEG IN "UNITS OF 32NDS" (SEE D. ABOVE)

THE HAND-WRITTEN TABLE IS IN PHOTO 3,  AS EBAY WILL NOT ALLOW ME TO UPLOAD TABLES INTO THE DESCRIPTION

THE SIZES AS SEEN ON THE CLIP ARE IN PHOTO 4.

OTHER SIMILAR PRODUCTS LOBBED IN HERE

IF YOU HAVE A BADGE with a short stumpy pin of about 3/8" depth that appears to be 280 thou to 300 thou in diameter, eg some Triumph ones like TR2,3,4,5,6, I have these too. They are a sort of extended-dome affair... a bit like an early round-top brimless capotain hat... and push over the pin. They are made of steel and have a number GHF1532

IF YOU HAVE A BADGE with a 3/32 pin (or 93 thou... approx 2.4mm) thin pin in diameter, eg some MGB and mini, I have these too. They are a sort of extended-dome affair... a bit like an early round-top brimless capotain hat... and push over the pin. They are made of plastic and have a number GHF1531

I also have the old-school axle clips in both metric and imperial. see last photo.  I show you these, that you may also be interested in.   These axle clips (like on old prams and shopping trolleys) used to be used extensively and were always hard to get and difficult to replace with anything else. The capped ones are particularly fiendishly difficult to get... took me ages to find these chrome-cap ones.

These close off a small axle (neatly if the chrome cap ones are used), and are very difficult to replace with anything else.

These are a special and please ask about these and I will list an item for you on Ebay at $1 each.

To look for items in my shop, navigation is easiest by clicking on the link “visit store”,  (NOT “see other items”) at top right area in any item….then click on the shop-categories in the yellow box.   Select the category of interest and all items in that category will appear.  It is much easier than keywords.

For example "BRAKE"   or   "TRAFFICATOR whole"   or "LIGHTS"   or   "AXLES"   or   "COOLING"  etc etc
