These reamers have been properly tapered to allow anyone to get the most out of a stock type carburetor, Venturi size is often the most checked measurement if rules require a SA (stock appearing) Carburetor, Getting the MOST out of your carburetor requires you be at the MAX size allowed and at the smallest convergence point.Know your rule.. some rules state .615 while others state .650 BIGGER IS BETTER 99% of the time!

for a carburetor to properly draw and atomize fuel it must have a taper > in and a taper < out.
I use this reamer by hand and go slow and measure often, it is easy to get it as large you intend. I stay just BELOW the size stated in the rules so there is never an issue at the track.
