French Combat Harness Suspenders Very Versatile Fast Shipping OD Green
Genuine surplus from the French military, pulled from the same kit soldiers wore with the FAMAS web gear set. Strap layout sends two lengths down the front and a single one across the back, so the weight rides on both shoulders rather than hanging from one point. It works as a load-bearing base in the field, and it doubles for hunting or trail carry.
- Y Strap Shape — One strap crosses the back while two come down the chest, a layout that keeps a loaded belt balanced instead of pulling to one side.
- Olive Drab Webbing — The green finish sits well with standard field uniforms and with other surplus load-bearing gear.
- Rugged Nylon — The straps are wide woven nylon, made to survive tough field use, and they hold up without stretching or fraying.
- Plastic Hooks — Four polymer clips hold it onto a FAMAS field belt, and because they are plastic they will not set off metal detectors.
- Adjustable Buckles — Metal-and-poly sliding hardware changes the length, so the fit works over a base layer, over fatigues, or over a bulkier combat jacket.
- Shoulder Padding — Reinforced pads ease the pressure on your shoulders once the belt is loaded with spare magazines, a canteen, or grenade pouches.
- Matching Webbing — Built to attach to the FAMAS field belt and the rest of that system, including its magazine pouches and the gas mask bag.
- Other Uses — Beyond the battlefield it doubles as a way to carry gear while hunting or walking a trail, and it suits anyone assembling a FAMAS-era kit.
