Up for your consideration is a wonderful estate find here in the New York area! Beautiful sitting Buddha statue with children. This item is made of porcelain and hand painted with a famille rose motif. It has been stamped on the bottom by the maker which appears to be late Qing or Early Republic. Absolutely no cracks, chips, breaks or repairs with this item. Light rubbing on the paint from age/handling in some areas (see photos). It is in outstanding condition considering it's age. Stands 7.5 inches tall with a length of 5 1/2 inches and a width of 3 inches. Weighs 1 pound 3.5 ounces. Wonderful addition to any collection. |
