A 1-light outdoor wall sconce with a minimalist silhouette, finished in black with clear seedy glass, designed for covered patios and entryways.

The Shelter collection by Hinkley combines refined transitional style with contemporary cool. Its clear seedy glass allows light to graze through, creating a dramatic effect. Made of solid aluminum with a black finish, this sconce is Dark Sky compliant and wet rated for outdoor use.

Best for

• Covered patios and porches, mounted as a welcoming light near the door
• Entryways and mudrooms, providing ambient accent lighting
• Garage or side entrances where a compact, weather-resistant fixture is needed
• Dark Sky compliant areas where light pollution reduction is desired

Not ideal for

• Spaces requiring bright task lighting—this fixture uses a single 60W bulb and is best for accent or ambient use
• Indoor-only applications if you need a damp-rated fixture—this is wet rated, so it's fine outdoors

How bright is it?

With a single 60W medium base bulb (not included), brightness depends on the bulb chosen. A typical 60W incandescent equivalent LED produces about 800 lumens, suitable for accent or ambient lighting on a porch or entryway. For brighter output, use a higher wattage LED equivalent (up to 60W max).

Light color and feel

Light color is determined by the bulb you choose. For a warm, inviting glow, select a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The clear seedy glass diffuses light softly, creating a charming, vintage-inspired ambiance.
