This is a lovely vintage pattern for 7 pieces of knitted clothing to fit dolls either 12 or 16 inches in height and cover. The pattern gives instructions for a dress, coat, bonnet, leggings, mitts, briefs, bootees and cover. All items are knitted in 4-ply, but as this pattern was released as yarns were becoming standardised, you should be fine using a modern 4-ply, but work a tension square first to see if a change of needles or ply is needed to obtain the tension in the pattern (see below) before embarking on your project.

MEASUREMENTS:
To fit a 12 (16) inch doll
Cover- 12 x 20 inches
MATERIALS:
4-ply tarn (see above regards yarn)
No.11, 10 & 9 needles
Pair No.6 needles for cover
Dress & Coat- 2 small buttons each
Bonneet- length of ribbon
Leggings- length of elastic
TENSION:
7 stitches and 9 rows to 1 inch on No.10 needles over stocking stitch
