I used to repair, service and restore old malt / milk shake mixers. Accumulated a lot of spare parts over the years and am now going to sell some of my extras.
This listing is for one new old stock 33 / 933 armature in original box from Hamilton Beach. It will only fit the 33/933 models. It will not fit 30/930 or the 40/940dm triple spindle models. It is probably 40+ years old and the commutator is a bit tarnished. It includes the cooling fan blade but no other parts. You would need to either transfer the bearings from your existing armature or press on new bearings. The bottom agitator (threaded into bottom of spindle), Slinger (metal disk about 1 1" above), Splash ring (pressed to top of spindle against bottom of motor housing) and lower bearing cover also need transferring. See last picture of a used 33 armature for reference). I recommend new carbon brushes also. If you are not familiar with properly disassembling one of these malt mixers, I recommend you take it to someone who is! At a minimum it requires bearing pullers, a hydraulic press, accurate measurements and mechanical aptitude.
If you have a 33 or 933 mixer and the commutator has worn out (the part the carbon brushes rub against), you either have to get your armature "rewound" or replace the armature with another one (rewound or new).
Overall length 10 11/16".
Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you.
