You are buying an A4 modern print of the original pattern and not the finished item.

This 'loopy' cardigan / jacket design is available for smaller girls. Look in my shop under 'Knitting Patterns' - 'Girls' or 'Baby'.

This lovely pattern allows the knitter to create a cardi-jacket of loopy loops both fashionable and cosy for girls. It comes in four sizes, and is knitted in D/K on No.10 and No.8 disc needles. As this pattern heralds form the 70s, you should be okay using a modern D/K wool, but work your tension square to see if a change of needles is needed to obtain the tension stipulated in the pattern. 

Measurements and materials to complete this project are below and taken DIRECTLY from the original pattern:

MEASUREMENTS:

To fit chest- 20-21 [22-23] [24-25] [26-27] ins.

Length from top of shoulder- 14 [15½] [17] [18½]

Sleeve seam- 9 [10½] [12] [13½]

MATERIALS:

D/K wool; No.10 (3 ¼mm) and No.8 (4mm) disc needles.

Buttons 7 [7,8,8]

TENSION:

11 sts. and 15 rows to 2 in. and the finished square should measure 2 in. each way
