This sweet pattern of shawl and matinee coat in the choice of either 3-ply or 4-ply wool is a treat for knitters to knit for a little one especially when coming home for the first time. The patterning of both items are both delicate and would make lovely heirloom items. The matinee coat comes in three sizes (see below).

Measurements- 

Shawl - 42 x 42 inches excluding border

Matinee Coat:

Length - 9 1/4, [10 1/4], [10 1/4] inches 

Sleeve Seam - 5, [6], [6] inches

MATERIALS: 

Wool - 3-ply or 4-ply for shawl or coat

3-ply option - Pair each of no. 8 & no. 11 needles, pair of long Aero needles no.11 for yoke. 3 small buttons and 3/4 yard of narrow ribbon for coat. One Aero circular twin-pin size 8. (length 42 inches). One pair of Aero needles size 9 for shawl.

4-ply option - Pair each of no. 6 & no. 10 needles, pair of long Aero needles no.10 for yoke. 3 small buttons and 3/4 yard of narrow ribbon for coat. One Aero circular twin-pin size 6. (length 42 inches). One pair of Aero needles size 7 for shawl.

This pattern will arrive safe in it's own plastic pocket ready for you to file.
