This listing is for a pair of lovely Lalique Crystal HIRONDELLE clear and frosted swallow Art Glass paperweight bookends. Originally designed and sold as individual paperweights, these lovely swallow figures are often purchased in pairs to be used as bookends. Made from the finest crystal by Lalique, these figures combine the use of frosted accents with the beauty of the clear crystal and are absolutely gorgeous. Current replacement price is $850.00 each. Each sculptures is each signed in script "Lalique, France" on base.
Measures 6 1/8" high with a base measurement of 3 1/8" wide and 3 3/8"deep. Combined weight is 4 pounds.
Both pieces are in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws. There may be some faint no-harm scratches on the base from normal wear.
