This is an exceptionally charming mid-century vintage decorative lithograph metal tin manufactured by Hubert Klann in Western Germany. Shaped like a classic dome-top trunk or miniature casket, it features a unique "casket basket" utility handle design.

The box is beautifully detailed with a colorful, multi-tone faux mosaic or faux stained-glass tile pattern consisting of vibrant pink, green, cream, and deep cobalt blue square grids. The center of the domed lid features an elegant oval portrait medallion highlighting a cluster of blooming pink cottage roses. The entire piece rests on ornate, gold-tone metal claw feet.
