Excalibur Hotel & Casino — Las Vegas, Nevada — $10 Silver Strike (1994)
Silver Strikers Club catalog EXlvnv-004 — Sword In Rock — .999 Fine Silver Center

The wizard Merlin beside the sword in the stone — the Silver Strikers Club catalogs this design as "Sword In Rock," one of only four $10 strikes Excalibur issued in 1994 (Dragon, Jouster, Knight on Horse, and this one). The castle is on the other side. This is an early-format strike: the ".999 PURE SILVER" legend sits on the brass ring itself, and the small LM mark on the castle side is the Lancaster Mint. These $10 strikes were won from special Silver Strike slot machines.

Bimetallic construction: a .999 fine silver center insert (approximately 0.60 troy oz of silver) set in a brass outer ring. Smooth edge. Mintage was never published for this issue.

Condition disclosure: the Merlin-side silver center shows dark toning and fine scratches (most visible in the in-hand photo, which is included so you can see it at an angle). The castle side is bright. Please examine all three photos carefully before buying.

Specifications: Silver content: .999 fine, approx. 0.60 troy oz (actual silver weight). Total weight: approx. 37 g. Diameter: approx. 43 mm.

Please examine the photos carefully — they show the exact token you will receive. Ask any questions before buying.
