This is a desirable early run of the Fulltone Mini Deja Vibe-2. It is highly regarded as one of the most accurate, completely analog clones of the legendary 1960s Univibe circuit ever made.- Introduction: Fulltone introduced the MDV-2 around late 2008 / early 2009 as a space-saving evolution of the larger, dual-chassis Deja’Vibe 2.
- The Circuit: It features a 100% accurate vintage circuit built with 13 discrete transistors, 4 glass photocells, and a real incandescent light bulb to generate its signature pitch-bend vibrato and phase-shifted chorus.
- The Mechanism: Unlike standard wah pedals that use a toe-down click switch, the MDV-2 utilizes Mike Fuller’s unique heel-activated switch mechanism. Stepping back all the way triggers a relay-based true bypass switch so you can seamlessly engage the pedal at slower, smoother modulation rates.
This particular pedal left the factory in March of 2009 with serial number 331. Home studio use only. Excellent condition both functionally and aesthetically. A few minor incidental scrapes/chips. Only wear to speak of is at heel of foot pad. Original box w/ hand written #331 is complete and sturdy but has some water damage (occurred in storage while the pedal was safely on my board). Loop Velcro applied on reverse of back plate to preserve integrity of the label and print.
INCLUDED: Original box, 9v adaptor, OEM feet & screws. No papers or sticker, et al.
