De Silva
Blue Glazed Terracotta
Round Casserole Dish

Vintage Italian-made De Silva terracotta cookware is highly regarded for its superior heat retention and rustic Mediterranean aesthetic. These earthenware pieces are designed to transition seamlessly from oven to table, providing even heating for slow-cooked dishes. The combination of the vibrant blue exterior and traditional terracotta interior makes this a functional kitchen staple and a charming display piece.

• "DE SILVA MADE IN ITALY" mark impressed on the unglazed terracotta bottom
• Mottled blue glazed exterior with a smooth, burnt-orange terracotta glazed interior
• Round baking dish design featuring two integrated loop handles
• Heavyweight earthenware construction typical of authentic Italian ceramic production

Condition: Good vintage condition with no structural cracks or major damage. A small dark mark or minor chip is visible on the upper interior rim. Light glaze wear and thinning are present on the tops of the handles and along the bottom edge, consistent with age and regular kitchen use. The interior glaze remains smooth and glossy with no significant staining.
