IN-DEPTH GENEALOGY FAMILY LINE RESEARCH — 7 HOURS

If your family line requires deeper investigation, conflicting evidence, identity differentiation, reconstruction across several record groups, or simply more time than a basic genealogy search allows, this package provides up to SEVEN FULL HOURS of active research.

Send me the information you already have and the family branch you want investigated. I will follow the strongest available evidence as far as reasonably possible within the purchased research block and prepare a documented report explaining what the evidence supports.

THE SEVEN HOURS ARE RESEARCH TIME

This package includes up to 7 hours of active genealogy research.

Time spent afterward organizing the evidence, preparing citations, correlating findings, constructing useful timelines, and writing the final research report does not reduce the seven-hour research block.

SUITABLE PROJECTS MAY INCLUDE

• tracing a family line through multiple generations where evidence permits
• reconstructing a family across census, vital, directory, newspaper, probate, land, church, military, and other records
• investigating uncertain parents or spouses
• distinguishing between people with the same or similar names
• resolving conflicting birth dates, locations, relationships, or identities
• connecting individuals across changing residences
• investigating spelling and surname variations
• reconstructing a household or family group
• examining collateral relatives when direct evidence is limited
• investigating an established family-history brick wall
• reviewing existing tree conclusions against historical evidence

WHAT I MAY RESEARCH

Sources may include:

• U.S. federal and state census records
• birth, marriage, and death records
• obituaries and newspapers
• cemetery and burial records
• city directories
• immigration and naturalization records
• military records
• probate and estate records
• wills and administrations
• land and property records
• church and religious records
• historical directories
• archival catalogs
• digitized manuscript collections
• local-history resources
• historical databases
• other relevant sources identified during the investigation

WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE

Your completed documented research report may include:

• research objective
• starting information and assumptions
• sources and record groups searched
• detailed chronological findings
• source citations
• family and household reconstruction where useful
• expanded timeline
• relationship analysis
• identity differentiation
• correlation of evidence across multiple sources
• analysis of conflicting evidence
• discussion of evidence strength
• distinction between established facts, reasonable inferences, possibilities, and unresolved questions
• written conclusions
• unresolved problems
• prioritized recommendations for continued research
• relevant record copies, excerpts, or source links when legally and practically available

WHAT I NEED FROM YOU

After purchase, please send through eBay Messages:

• the person, couple, or established family where research should begin
• approximate dates of birth, marriage, death, or residence
• known locations
• known parents, spouses, children, siblings, and other relatives
• the family branch or primary objective you want investigated
• your current family tree information
• documents, records, photographs, screenshots, or links already in your possession
• previous research you have conducted
• sources already searched
• family stories or traditions that may be relevant
• alternate names and spelling variations
• known contradictions or uncertain relationships

Please do not send an entire family tree with the instruction to “find everything.” A defined starting line or branch lets me use the purchased research time much more effectively.

SCOPE

This package covers one family line or one closely related research problem.

It is time-bounded, not outcome-bounded or generation-bounded.

I will follow productive evidence as far as reasonably possible during the seven-hour research allocation. Depending on the difficulty of the problem, those hours may establish several generations or may be required to investigate one difficult relationship thoroughly.

Collateral relatives may be researched when they materially contribute evidence about the selected family line.

Interesting discoveries involving unrelated branches will normally be documented as recommended next steps rather than pursued at the expense of the primary research objective.

IMPORTANT

Genealogical evidence is not always complete.

Your purchase does not guarantee:

• a particular ancestor will be identified
• a parentage question will be resolved
• a family tradition will be proven
• a specific record will be found
• a particular number of generations will be established
• every contradiction can be resolved

Records may have been lost, destroyed, restricted, never created, incorrectly indexed, or may contain errors.

Where evidence remains inconclusive, the report will explain what was found, what remains uncertain, why a definitive conclusion cannot presently be reached, and which next steps offer the strongest chance of further progress.

This service is primarily intended for deceased individuals in United States family-history research.

DNA interpretation, adoption or unknown-parentage investigations, citizenship applications, legal-heir determinations, tribal-enrollment claims, forensic genealogy, extensive international research, and investigations of living people are outside the normal scope of this listing.

Paid records, certificates, archive fees, repository charges, or other third-party expenses are not included and will never be incurred without your prior approval.

ABOUT THE RESEARCHER

I have approximately 17 years of genealogy and family-history research experience, primarily through extensive research of my own extended family and assisting others before beginning to offer paid research through Dear June Collectibles.

My primary experience is with United States genealogy, with particular familiarity with western Pennsylvania research.

TURNAROUND

Please allow up to 10 business days after I receive the information needed to begin.

REVISION

One reasonable revision for correction or clarification of the completed report is included.

A revision does not include additional research time, a new family branch, unrelated ancestors, or a new research objective.

Please message me before purchasing if your research problem is unusually complicated and you are unsure whether it fits this package.
