Description
Among Martin's extensive lineup, the high-end models in the 40 series are a symbol of the pinnacle and are the object of desire for many players.
The luxurious decorations on various parts of the body and the brand logo, commonly known as the "vertical logo," make owning one a status symbol.
The "D-41," released in 1969, retains the appearance of the top-of-the-line D-45, but reduces the amount of decoration and uses smaller hexagon inlays on the fretboard to keep the price down.
It possesses rich harmonics, often described as a "bell-like" tone, while also having the tight, clear projection similar to the D-28, offering a unique sound among the 40 series models.
This time, we are pleased to introduce a well-used 1997 D-41 that has just arrived in our used inventory.
Regarding its condition, there are some minor scratches and dents in places, but no fatal damage such as cracks in the wood. The moderately aged amber top gives it a vintage feel. While a very slight upward bow is visible upon close inspection, the neck remains nearly straight, and the string height at the 12th fret is a standard setting of approximately 2.5mm on the 6th string side and 1.9mm on the 1st string side.

The frets have been leveled, but still have about 60-70% remaining, and there are no dead spots.
The binding shows some shrinkage due to age, with a gap at the joint at the bottom of the neck heel, but this has been filled with resin of the same color, and all areas where peeling had occurred have been carefully repaired.
The nut width is 42.9mm, narrower than current models, and many people will appreciate this neck grip that they have long been familiar with.
The extremely vibrant sound suggests that it has been played extensively, and furthermore, it is a guitar that can be enjoyed for its gorgeous, enveloping resonance that rivals even higher-end models.
