This is a rare custom model, the Martin "CTM 000-28 JP," made specifically for the Japanese market.
Based on Martin's classic "000-28" model, this custom model was specially produced for the Japanese market. It boasts the easy-to-handle body size characteristic of the 000 series, combined with the rich resonance of rosewood sides and back.
The framed logo decal, reminiscent of vintage Martins, the glossy headstock, and the tortoiseshell pickguard are also unique features of this model.
The sound is well-balanced, responsive, clear, and full-bodied, while still retaining the rich resonance characteristic of Martin guitars. This is a guitar that offers a different feel and specifications from a standard 000-28, a custom model made specifically for the Japanese market.
