DW Collector’s Series Maple Snare Drum - 14" x 5 " - White Marble Pearl - VGC!
Lovely example of this highly revered and sought after black badge era snare, in a rare and extremely cool Gloss White Marble Pearl finish.
The wrap is stunning.
Hand made in the USA.
I have carefully inspected, stripped and serviced every part of this drum.
Notes on the condition:
- Hoops - excellent condition
- Lugs - excellent condition
- Tension rods - great condition - cleaned and oiled
- Strainer - excellent condition - super smooth action
- Wrap - excellent condition
- Shell - excellent condition - bearing ed.ges sharp and smooth on both sides - there are some dark marks visible on the snare side edges but these are purely cosmetic and have no idea what these marks are or how they could have happened.
- Interior screws/bolts - these were slightly corroded when I received it but I have carefully cleaned and oiled these with wire wool.
- Batter Head - Remo USA Coated Ambassador - hardly used
- Snare side head - Remo USA Hazy Ambassador - Original DW branded - Good condition
- Snare wires - Vintage 20 strand wires - excellent condition
PLEASE NOTE - photos show air vent grommet is missing - I have ordered a new one and will be included in the sale.
