A bursting formation of quartz crystals has been dusted with epidote from Hakkâri Province, Turkey. The quartz has formed on all sides of this piece and has an explosive look. The epidote formed two habits, where on one side there are fine grained, sparkly crystals, and on the other side there are thicker, dark crystals. Some occasional damage, but a very beautiful specimen regardless!
