Here we have a beautiful, decorative vintage book, Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam, with an ornate floral design in green, red and gilt on a cream cloth cover, accompanied by its burgundy outer case featuring an illustrated front. A lovely decorative addition to a coffee table, bookshelf or library display. The Rubáiyát of Omar Khayyám is a collection of poetry by the Persian poet Omar Khayyám, translated into English verse by Edward Fitzgerald in 1859. The poems explore themes of life, love and the passing of time, with this edition featuring illustrations by Edmund Dulac.This is the "De Luxe Edition" Published by Garden City Publishing Co., Inc., New York, in 1937.

This is a vintage book showing light signs of age and use. The burgundy outer case has noticeable rubbing and wear to the edges and corners, while the book itself has been kept tidy in the slip case.
