Also important to note:

The majority of ebay buyers are honest, however there are a few who choose to engage in fraud,

so we put in place additional measures to counter this including reserving the right to cancel auctions based on zero, low, or questionable feedback

We also have the ability to directly contact the lead supervisors in the fraud department, so any attempt of fraud will be dealt with severely, including:

Preventing fraudulent INAD returns to complete,

Reporting feedback extortion,

The use of AI in fraudulent returns,

Flagging and banning the buyers account,

Reporting the buyer to ebay in their attempt to misuse the ebay return policy,

Reporting the buyer on the major ebay community message boards and on the ebay reddit fraud board,

Banning and reporting the address to the postal inspector,

And to report the crime to the police department in that area

Also important to note, any buyer who accumulates three fraudulent INAD returns are automatically banned forever on ebay,

so any attempt at a fraudulent INAD return will have the buyer reported immediately

We understand that this may seem overly punitive in nature,

but it really is meant to send a clear message to fraudulent buyers that we are not the seller to mess with

All of this is in the goal of keeping the ebay community safe and healthy because fraud hurts not just sellers,

but honest buyers also because those costs get passed down to everyone else

Thank you and please keep the community safe!
