Vintage American Flyer #283 S Gauge 4-6-2 steam locomotive with Chicago & North Western / American Flyer Lines tender.

This appears to be a very complete and nicely preserved example. The locomotive retains its #283 cab markings, detailed running gear and wheel assemblies. The matching-style tender retains the Chicago North Western Line emblem and AMERICAN FLYER LINES lettering.

The tender has electrical/mechanical components and an underside switch, with wiring connecting the locomotive and tender as shown in the photos.

I have NOT tested the locomotive, smoke unit, tender mechanism, light, or other electrical functions, so the entire unit is being sold as UNTESTED. I cannot guarantee operating condition.

Cosmetically it presents quite well for its age, with normal age-related wear, dust, oxidation, marks and finish wear. Please examine all photos carefully for the exact condition and completeness.
