Up for sale is a vintage Sony CDP-CX53 MegaStorage 50+1 Disc Compact Disc Player, manufactured in September 1999. This jukebox-style changer allows you to store, manage, and play up to 51 CDs easily inside a single unit. It features standard analog RCA Line Outs, a digital Optical Out port, S-Link control capability, and a front-loading "Plus One" slot for quick single-disc access.

Item Condition & Functionality Notes:

- Functionality: Fully tested and confirmed to be in great working order! The unit successfully loads, rotates, tracks, and plays discs cleanly. The internal bay illumination lights up, and the front digital screen displays track information perfectly as pictured.

- Defect / Missing Part: The main plastic front rotary "Disc / Push Enter" dial knob is missing from the front control panel shaft (please refer to the close-up images). You can still rotate the metal inner shaft post manually or operate the unit seamlessly if you pair it with a compatible Sony remote control (remote not included).

- Cosmetics: Shows moderate cosmetic wear from past stacking and general storage. The outer metal casing shows light scratches, surface scuffs, and a small area of white paint/scuff marks on the rear top edge. The front faceplate window has normal light cleaning scuffs but clear visibility.

- Rear Panels: All rear ports (RCA jacks, Optical Out, S-Link) are clean, structurally sound, and completely unbent.
