Near MINT Canon V-T Deluxe Rangefinder 35mm Film Camera Body #4159
Description
Key Features
Rotating Three-Position Prism Finder
A coincidence rangefinder is combined with a reversed Galilean viewfinder. The rotating prism has three positions: 35, 50, and RF, with the RF position magnified for focusing. The finder has no framelines or parallax compensation, but the accessory shoe has a pin coupled to the focusing mechanism for parallax correction of an accessory finder.

Bottom Trigger Film Advance & Rewind Crank
Film is advanced by a single-stroke trigger on the camera bottom, and a top knob can also be used to wind the film. The Deluxe introduced a folding rewind crank for quicker rewinding.

Focal-Plane Shutter & Flash Sync
A horizontal-travel focal-plane shutter covers 1 to 1/1000 sec plus B and T, set on two dials: a low-speed dial and a high-speed dial. A built-in self-timer and a shutter safety lock are included. Flash sync supports FP, M-F, and X, selected by a lever, and the camera has a bayonet flash terminal.

VT Deluxe Design & Lens Mount
Released in 1957 as the deluxe version of the Canon VT, the VT Deluxe adds a safety latch on the back to prevent accidental opening. It uses the L39 Leica screw mount and has no built-in light meter.
