Description

About This Item

Thank you for viewing. This is the SONY ICF-9740, an antique radio with a stylish wood-grain finish. The warm wooden cabinet gives it great atmosphere as interior decor or a display piece.

[Condition and operation]
- Confirmed that it powers on when plugged into an outlet.
- Confirmed simple reception and sound output from the speaker for both AM and FM broadcasts.
- Only a brief, simple check was performed. Detailed adjustment, long-term operation checks, and fine sensitivity checks using the rear external antenna terminal have not been done.
- As this is an old vintage appliance, noise (scratchy sound) or contact quirks may occur during dial operation. Please understand in advance.

[Appearance]
There is some minor scuffing and small scratches from age, but for a vintage item there is little peeling of the wood grain and it remains in relatively clean condition overall. Please check the photos (front, side, rear, etc.) carefully for details.

[Specifications]
- Manufacturer: SONY
- Model: ICF-9740
- Power: AC 100V

Please purchase only if you understand that this is an old vintage, used item. How about it as interior decor or a collection piece for retro appliance lovers?
