Here we have a gorgeous antique English Arts & Crafts vas made by Bretby Art Pottery. Bretby was founded in 1882 by William Ault & Henry Toothe. This is stamped to the base with Bretby's iconic sunburst backstamp, underneath that a marking I do not recognise and can't make out, along with model number 1836 C. I do not know which year this specifically dates to but would imagine it is c1925 or thereabouts. It is a truly beautiful design, the vase has a tall cylindrical form with a gently flared base. It is finished in a striking firey orange-brown dripglaze which has a marbled finish. It measures approximately 7 inches by 4 inches weighing around 600g. This would look perfect in any collection of Bretby pottery or an art deco or arts and crafts inspired home. This is the only one on eBay of course so get it while you can! If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.

International Buyers – Please Note:
Import duties; sometimes there will be a charge, I think this is mainly charged on high value items, this is something that the Government enforces to which I have no control of. I declare the value of the parcel as the price the item sold for plus shipping costs.
Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.
Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding or buying.
