Martin D-35 1992 Vintage Acoustic Guitar Solid Spruce Rosewood Dreadnought

Description

Martin D-35 1992 Vintage Acoustic Guitar

A classic 1992 Martin D-35, one of Martin's long-running dreadnought models originally introduced in 1965.

The D-35 is known for its distinctive three-piece rosewood back construction and its balanced tonal character, offering a different sound and response from the legendary D-28.

This example features a solid spruce top, solid Indian rosewood back and sides, mahogany neck, and ebony fingerboard and bridge.

The tone is well-balanced, with a clear and bright high end, good depth, and excellent note separation. Compared with the D-28, the low end is slightly less punchy, while the overall sound retains plenty of body and dimension.

It responds beautifully to both gentle, folk-style playing and stronger strumming. The excellent note separation also makes it particularly suitable for fingerstyle and arpeggio playing.

The neck is in good condition and the string height is appropriate for comfortable playing.

Condition: EX+++

There are some small dents and light surface scratches from normal use.

The binding has been repaired.

There is minor finish lifting next to the bridge on the top.

There are also six areas of finish loss around the nut on the headstock veneer.

Considering its age, the guitar has been well preserved and appears to have been carefully played and stored.

A strap pin has been installed at the neck heel.

The guitar comes with its original hard case. One of the case's metal fittings has come off.
