Excellent Vintage Capodimonte Porcelain Figural Group by TIZIANO GALLI - "QUEL PO' PER COT"
Scarce and highly animated market scene by master Italian ceramist Tiziano Galli.
Depicts a tall, thin vendor in hat and long coat presenting a pan of fish / bananas to a small boy in beret who holds his nose in disgust. Two additional wrapped fish / sausages lie on the textured ground at their feet. Wonderful exaggerated expressions and movement — classic Galli street humor at its best.
Hand-painted in soft Capodimonte matte colors, detailed patchwork on pants, straw-like hair, and ground texture.

Rear base: MADE-ITALY DEPOSEE + Blue Crowned N Capodimonte mark
