Offered for sale is this
Minton bone china part tea service selection in the “Ancestral” pattern,
including cups, saucers and plates.
They are offered or sale
in generally good condition with no chips or cracks, unless stated otherwise
below. However, most of the items have wear to the gilding in places.
They are fully marked on
the base with the Minton stamp. The pattern number is S376, some of them are
marked SS on the base (a large S over a small S).
The items included in
this selection are;
GRAVY BOAT & STAND;
boat approx. 7 7/8ths inches long, 3.5 inches wide and 3.5 inches tall, tiny
overglazed chip on base. The stand is approx. 8 inches long and 5.5 inches
wide.
2 SOUP CUPS &
SAUCERS; cup approx. 2 inches tall and 4.5 inches diameter, saucer 6.25 inches
diameter, they are marked “SS” on the base which may indicate they are factory
seconds. Wear to the gilding on the handles.
CREAM JUG; approx. 3.25
inches tall.
SUGAR BOWL; approx. 2.75
inches tall and just under 4 inches diameter.
CAKE PLATE; approx. 9.5
inches across from handle to handle.
10” OVAL BOWL (SS); approx. 10.25 inches long, 7.25 inches wide
and 2.25 inches tall, marked “SS” on the base which may indicate it is a
factory second.
4 TEA PLATES (MODERN STAMP); approx. 6.25 inches diameter.
