From a house clearance comes this really great pair of vintage leather Football Boots.  In my estimation they date from the 1940s.  I believe the imprints show that they are UK size 8 1/2.

They are now in what's probably best described as a shabby chic state and may benefit from some sort of leather polish.  Even without that, I think they may make a great display piece and talking point.
