here is a nice little estate find of a large color photograph from of a vintage red ALPHA GIULIA SPIDER VELOCE with racing sticker on front left quarter of a Blue White and Red arrow with "015" on vehicle. standing next to car is "FRANK" just behind a old "LITTLE INDY SPEED WAY" sign in the Colorado Desert. Attached to this 12" x 8" Color Photographic Print is a "THE STAR MERCEDES BENZ CLUB OF AMERICA" Letterhead and Letter by the gentleman in photo named Frank and addressed to a A.B. Shuman in Hillsdale, New Jersey. The letter states the photo was taken on "THE GRAND".

   I have tried to research this exact location and I can only speculate and take an educated guess that this sign and photo may have been taken at the old defunct "COLORADO SPRINGS INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY"? I am not certain of this but the photo was surely taken in Colorado. As far as the gentleman Frank in the picture he apparently worked for or at THE STAR MAGAZINE perhaps the Editor or a photographer and Car Collector Enthusiast. if anyone knows where this photo was taken I would appreciate it if you could reach out to me for my own knowledge. Photo is in very nice condition and the letter has a very faint water stain mark at top that I only noticed in the photographs and is very faint in person. please view all pics.
