This is a lot of various stones gathered from Lake Michigan including Petoskey stones (the ones with the “eyes”), Charlevoix stones (the ones with the scallop pattern) and other fossils in stone of which I have no idea what they are. They are fossilized coral that is millions of years old and are named after the towns along Lake Michigan that they are mostly found in. They are not found in any other lake in the world.
Most of these stones have have polished to a dull matte (500 grit) and a few have been polished to a shine AO polish). Some of them still have remnants of polish on them. I did turn them over and took pics of the other side. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR WANT TO SEE SOMETHING IN MORE DETAIL, etc etc etc., then ASK PLEASE.
Some of them still have remnants of polish on them. These are from a large freshwater lake and are NOT PERFECTLY ROUND, NOT PERFECTLY SMOOTH, AND HAVE NATURAL IMPERFECTIONS. THEY ARE NOT MANMADE. If you do not ask about something regarding the items appearance, size, etc., prior to purchase, that is on YOU. I am happy to any and all questions, thank you for looking!
