An Original James Harper McDonald CMS (Chief Metalsmith), USN, United States Navy, Medal of Honor Autographed Card!  The 3" x 5" Index card is beautifully signed by James H McDonald, CMs (Chief Metalsmith), USN, United States Navy, a well known historical figure who earned his Medal of Honor for an action following the sinking of the USS Squalus, May 23, 1939!  I am selling a collection of these Medal of Honor Autographed Cards for a collector who has passed.  The cards are generally 3" x 5" index cards, that were prepared by this collector, who would eventually mail the cards for an autograph or meet the Veteran in person to obtain their signature.  He would place an image of the MOH on the card, do a write-up on the Veteran, with a space for the MOH Veteran's signature and date of the signature.  As you can see, the James H McDonald autograph is present as is the date of August 12,1966, when this collector obtained the signature.  The card itself is still pretty clean, having been in a binder since 1966!  I have plenty of these Medal of Honor Autographed Cards from the Spanish American War to the Vietnam War which I will be slowly liquidating for the collector's spouse.  A Very interesting piece of US Military History!  I would say that this Medal of Honor Autographed Card by James H McDonald is in VF+ Condition.  It was quite an undertaking to accomplish and accumulate this collection!  Winning Bidder to add $6.00 for postage and delivery confirmation. Good Luck and Happy Bidding!!!
